One reason we hold so many open houses is we know an increasing number of buyers are searching for homes before they have a relationship with a Realtor. Some buyers are trying to buy homes without a Realtor at all. These are often the buyers who will pay the most money for your house.
Because we know this information it also means that it’s no longer good enough for your listing agent to simply place your home in the MLS and only advertise to Realtors. Doing that means your home is missing out on half the buyers who are shopping for homes the Austin area.
It is important for your home to be advertised on consumer websites like Zillow. Kopa Real Estate pays over $5,000 per year, which allows us to feature our listings on Zillow.
When you list your home with us because we are Zillow Premier Agents we are the only agents who show up on the Zillow listings when your home comes on the market. What that means is when a buyer reaches out with a question about your home the message gets sent to us and not another agent who isn’t familiar with your home.
When we get a contact from a buyer from Zillow we can sell them on your home and the neighborhood. That’s a benefit to you because otherwise another agent who is not working for you will try to sell them on a different home.
Zillow is also similar to Google in that if your home is on page 5 people won’t know about your listing. Over the years we have developed some Zillow Special Sauce that will push your home towards the top of the listings.
Having your home on Zillow increased the number of buyers who see your listing. The more buyers who see your home the more showings which will result in the highest price.
