Fannie Mae Housing Forecast: December 2024

There are two reasons I’m optimistic about real estate this year. 

First, the number of homes for sale around the country is increasing rapidly. So many people have told me they want to move but there are no homes for sale where they want to go. 

That’s no longer the case as many states are seeing more homes for sale than pre-pandemic levels. 

What that means is it is much easier to buy a home in places like Colorado, Florida, Tennessee and Florida. We have even had clients be able to buy a home in other states contingent on selling their home here before we put their home on the market.
